Designing an adaptive website and app for the Olamot convention for Science Fiction and Fantasy, an annual event hosted in Tel Aviv every year.
It is a gathering of the Israeli science fiction and fantasy community that includes events for fans of all ages. The Olamot convention holds many different events, lectures, and meetings all happening at the same time. Sales stand of artists, literature, comics, board games, and others also can be found at the Olamot convention.
As mentioned, the event holds multiple events at the same time. The customers need to manage their schedule, navigate those events and select which ticket to purchase so no events will collide.
In order to make the event selection process easier, I have divided the itinerary into four main categories; Lectures, meetings, luncing\premiers, and activities. I have created clear access to the info about each event and made a filtering system. also, I designed a personal schedule area where the customers can see all their selected itineraries and offers events that might suit them.
The look&feel of the site are inspired by the fantasy world of old fairytale books. I designed a clean yet unique and intuitive user experience, creating fun and playful features to engage people and welcome them into the fantasy world.
